Damien is primarily focused on sourcing new investments and working with portfolio companies. He currently serves on the Boards of Spirometrix and Breathometer and is an observer on the boards of Vivino, Bossa Nova and Starship Technologies. Damien was part of the team that represented the founders of Skype in several transactions including the sale of Skype to eBay in 2005, the reacquisition of Skype in 2009 in partnership with a with a consortium of private equity firms, and the recent sale of Skype to Microsoft. Previously, Damien was a senior analyst in the Corporate Development department of Artisan Entertainment. He began his career as a consultant in the Strategic Consulting Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Damien received his BS in Physics and a second major in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
