We are very exciting to announce that SafetyCulture has closed their Series D financing round led by TDM Growth Partners.
It has been an incredible journey since our Series A investment, four years ago and we are excited that the next four years will be even better.
Today, SafetyCulture’s leading checklist app, iAuditor, is the world’s most used safety inspection checklist with 600 million safety and quality inspections globally. iAuditor empowers frontline workers and teams to improve safety and quality in the workplace by reporting safety issues and non-compliances in real-time. Companies such as Ikea, Coca-Cola, Siemens, General Electric, Tesco, BHP Billiton and CAT – use iAuditor daily to complete smart checklists, conduct on-site inspections, analyse data and share insights. Currently, iAuditor is used by over 50% of the ASX Top 100 companies and 27,000 organisations in 90 countries around the world. Amazing!
As you may know, the testing, inspection and certification market amounts to a staggering US$120-150 billion every year and has grown by roughly 10% per year for the last decade – a number that will likely accelerate.
The funding will allow SafetyCulture to accelerate their transition from a single product company to a Safety and Quality platform. The platform will include the introduction of key features such as incident reporting that will allow teams to act immediately, with real-time alerts for incidents, hazards and near micro Training and IoT. IoT will include sensors on machinery and equipment that will enable the continuous monitoring and provide alerts and warnings of faults or failures.
Ultimately, SafetyCulture will be in a unique position to capture significant market share as well as offer advanced risk profiles for commercial liability and workers’ comp insurance based on the unique proprietary datasets captured via its their platform.
We are proud to be a part of Luke and the SafetyCulture team’s journey so far and we’re excited to continue our ongoing support, as the team looks to build upon their long-term vision to ultimately save lives and enable workers to return home safely to their families.
